Is Wealthy Affiliate All It's Cracked Up to Be?
Okay folks, how many programs have you joined over the last couple of years promising that they will teach you how to make a lot of money or teach you how to build a hugh downline, quickly and easily? Same old story right.
Well I have to say that there are a few programs out there that do help people learn and earn but, they are far and away only a handful that truly help you learn how to market online and actually really teach you how to sharpen your skills.
Wealthy Affiliate is one such program that stands out from the pack. Why do I think that?
Well, I was very skeptical when I was researching the program. I decided to take a deeper look into the workings of what was making Wealthy Affiliate so unique in this vast online sea of so called marketing gurus. Well I found out that Kyle and Carson (Creators of Wealthy Affiliate) do not consider themselves guru's at all. Far from it! One of the reasons they are becoming one of fastest growing online marketing educators today, is because of their loyalty to the members.
They are frequently in the members forum, greeting and helping new members. Personnaly answering members questions and creating new online educational marketing information. They truly use what they teach.
Here are the basic questions that every person trying their hand in online marketing are asking.
Of course the first question is, Where do I start?
First, find a niche. Any niche that you have a passion for will do to start of with. Then drill down using a broad keyword search. Then you will find keyword phrases that you can target. Wealthy Affiliate shows you how and which keyword tools to use to get the right information.
Second, find a product that you might be able to sale in your particular niche. You can find that products on Clickbank, Linkshare, Commission Junction, etc.
Third, build a simple website. I know, I know.......if your like me, building a website is a thorn in my side. But, you can start of by using a simple blog. Like Blogger or Wordpress putting your affiliate links in the site.
Forth, Traffic. Right articles about your niche and submit them to article directories such as Ezine Articles. (Note: Never use affiliate links in your resource box!)
Fifth, repeat the process.
These are the basics of using Wealthy Affiliate but, there is so much more. Educational resources for learning PPC, Article Marketing, Website design, Webhosting, How to Spy on you competition, website building software, etc.
One of the drawbacks of Wealthy Affiliate is that there is so much information to take in that it will literally take weeks to go through all of the internet marketing educational information. But, hey.....they don't promise to make you rich overnight! If you really want to learn internet marketing, I think it is worth a look.

Do You Suck At Internet Marketing? Here's What You Need To Succeed!
Several years ago, I found myself wanting to learn how to become a successful internet marketer. After all, it could'nt be so difficult. When searching the web, I found hundreds of programs and systems promising to help me learn how to be a successful.
Man, I bought a bunch of those get rich overnight schemes and such, but I kept trying. No matter what, I was going to succeed! Well, after about 2 years and many hundreds of dollars later.....I found myself still sucking at internet marketing. No matter what I did, the money was just not coming in.
Oh sure, I made a few hundred dollars here and there. But, it was only enough to keep me interested. After a while I started learning my lesson. Stop buying all that crap and start learning! Okay, so the next step was, "Where do I get the training I needed to really learn how to market any product to people and convince them to buy?
Of course, the answer to that is...You need to find someone or company that has been there, is doing it and is willing to teach someone else without it costing and arm and a leg. This took me into mentoring programs. There are quite a few out there who will do just that but, the problem with most of them is that they only teach you how to market their product!
Well, that is all fine and dandy but, I needed someone who would teach me how to market any product and become successful at internet marketing. Well, after several months of searching I found such a company and I must say......I am learning quite a lot from them.
The basic rules of being successful in internet marketing is knowing what your customer is hungry for. Then you need to feed it to them. Plain and simple. But, just how simple is it really?
First, you identify the market niche that you want. Build a simple landing page that will attract your buyers interest (pre-sell them). Then you drive traffic to it. Uhhh....but of course their are a lot of caps to fill in this process.
Well, when I found my mentors I learned the basics to attracting customers, building SEO websites, advertising using article marketing, PPC, Bum Marketing and so much more! So do yourself a favor and stop wasting your money and start learning!

What's the biggest obstacle facing you today that is keeping you from increasing your affiliate sales? Or for that matter, making your first sale!
You buy all those crappy digital products promising you that they will teach you how to make huge amounts of profits by simply typing out little ads. They promise that you will make thousands of dollars per month using their system. Hey, they are making $15000 per month and so can you. (more crap) They are making that much because people like you are buying their product.
STOP! Right now and quit buying anything online until you learn how to truly market affiliate products or any other product for that matter. The question you should be asking yourself is, "What do I really need to learn to become successful at marketing affiliate products?"
You need to find affiliate products that people are hungry for and feed that need. You need to learn that direct linking to a merchants website will probably not earn you anything unless you pre-sale them first from your own optimized mini-page. You need to learn how to build and optimize that mini-page for that particular niche keyword or affiliate product, other wise it won't get listed by search engines. Oh sure, you will probably make a few sales here and there but nothing worth talking about.
You need to learn how to do keyword research, find out what your competition is doing, learn how to promote the product through free resources such as Squidoo, Blogger and Wordpress....etc. Any free available resource out there that you can use. Don't pay for anything unless you are sure that the program will truly educate you on how to properly promote and earn.
Learn to take the blog or mini-page you built and drive free traffic to it using resources such as article directories or other web related directories such as DMOZ.org directory and all those like it.
Once you learn these basics, and it WILL take some time but you will save the money in your pocket and actually educate yourself on real affiliate marketing knowhow! Anyway, how much time have you already spent buying and trying all those get rich quick schemes and still have not made any money! The most valuable commodity you own is your Time! Use it to educate yourself and become part of the top 2% of online marketers that actually make money and not the other 98% that are still going for the next big thing.
So again, STOP spending your money and educate yourself first on what truly makes a successful affiliate marketer.
